The My High Line video series highlights the many uses of the High Line and the people who call it their own. In this installment, meet Neftaly Garcia, a promising young educator who has worked in many capacities on the High Line’s public programs.

As a frequenter of the High Line Park in Manhattan NYC, I've especially loved writing the music for their projects. I've always felt an exciting and reflective energy in the park that is so centered around architecture, nature and urban history. Much of the music I've written tends to embody that energy, though for the My High Line series I wanted to convey something more personal; a decidedly acoustic foreground with the dimensional space of synthetic pads.
